Summer Staff & Volunteer Opportunities
Our summer staff includes our young adult support staff, high school counselors, and adult volunteers. As a highly relational camp, these are the people who really make our ministry happen each summer during our 4 weeks of summer camp and our events with our Camper Agency Partners throughout the rest of the year. We ask counselors to make a donation of $250 for each week they serve at camp in the summer. If you have questions about serving at Camp Lighthouse, please email Alan White.
Returning Counselors
We are requesting that potential counselors serve on at least one event outside of summer camp (listed below) in order to serve at summer camp in 2027. You can sign up for these events through our new communication tool called Band. Parents, these events are also listed below so you can see the details throughout the year. If you cannot serve on one of these events, please reach out to Alan. We will send out preference forms in December with counselor placements being emailed to you in early January.
New Counselors
We are requesting that potential counselors serve on at least one event outside of summer camp (listed below) in order to serve at summer camp in 2027. If you have not served on our summer camp team before, please watch the New Staff Training video and complete the New Staff Form first. Once complete, we will add you to our Band app group where you will be able to sign up to serve on events. New staff for Summer 2027 must currently be in the 9th-12th grade. If you cannot serve on one of the school year events, please email us.
