Our summer staff includes our young adult support staff, high school counselors, and adult volunteers. As a highly relational camp, these are the people who really make our ministry happen each summer during our 4 weeks of summer camp and our events with our Camper Agency Partners throughout the rest of the year.

NEW Summer Camp 2027 Application & Recruitment Process: We are enhancing our staff application process this year by creating a rolling application system through our retreat season in order to further live into our core value of going "deeper not wider" with our staff, campers, and volunteers. Beginning in July 2026, when you serve on an event outside of summer camp, that will be considered your staff application for the following year of summer camp. This applies to former and new staff. New staff need to be in the 9th-12th grade for the 2026-27 school year. If you have questions about serving at Camp Lighthouse, email Alan White. 
 

• STEP 1: Serve on a event outside of summer camp which you can find on the calendar below. If we feel that you would be a good fit for our summer staff team, we will send you an acceptance email the following week. 
   

• STEP 2: Accepted counselors will receive a form on December 1 to share how many week(s) they would like to serve and which week(s) they prefer to serve the most.

• STEP 3: After receiving the preference forms from all accepted staff, we will send final assignments with registration and donation links via email on January 1, 2027. We ask counselors to make a donation of $250 for each week that they serve at summer camp to cover their expenses for the week.
