As shared in the book Sacred Playgrounds, the research on camp ministry places a high value on on-going relationships and partnerships with organizations and churches for the sake of follow up, care and support for campers after camp. This the heart behind our Camper Agency Partnership model. These are ministries who bring kids to camp for our summer camp ministry for free each summer. We also want to serve and build relationships with these organizations during the year through retreats on our grounds and ministry support on theirs. We open our campus to these groups at no cost to the organization in order to give them a chance to bring their kids and leaders to Camp Lighthouse for community building and spiritual growth in addition to their summer camp experiences.
